Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, Steve Jobs and Brinner.

Okay... So this last week was fall break and my goodness it was amazing to just relax and not have to worry about school. I didn't open my notes, next book or pick up one flash card all week and it was exactly what I needed. I think saying that I was burned out was the understatement of the year. I was as burned out as a red head in the desert. I studied more than I have ever studied in my life and even though it was exhausting,  I am not going to lie it felt good to get good grades on these huge tests... Last semester killed my confidence. Especially when my beast of a teacher told me that even if I got 100% on the final I would still only get a C- in the class. At that point I about gave up, I was going through a very stressful and difficult breakup and lemme tell ya, school was not my first priority. To be honest I am not sure what my first priority was, I think it was figuring out who I am and what I want out of life. London gave me that and so much more. And so right now, school is about as close to number one as I can allow it to be. I mean it is school after all, a girl's gotta have a little fun, right?

The library is my second home as Brooke and Sarah both know, I see them more than I see my family, or even my cozy bed, which by the way, since it is beginning to get darker outside, I have not been able to get out of. I hit the snooze button at least 5 times every morning and then contemplate sleeping through class, BUT then I remember that school is at the top of my priorities right now. So I mosey on out of bed and head to campus.

I am not a morning person. If you know me, you know this. Breakfast is my least favorite meal, but I love brinner. You can make me breakfast for dinner any day. Keep that in mind if you want to win my heart.

Speaking of breakfast, am I the only one who wants to write iHOP like this? Look what Steve Jobs has done to the world, (RIP, btw) I mean its a international house of pancakes not a pogo stick, why does my mind want to type it like that? Who knows?

My friend was having problems with his iPhone last week and he said, "Man my iPhone is being so slow right now... but hey I guess if my dad died, I'd need a few days off to recoup. I better cut him some slack, he's trying his best to cope..." I just about died laughing.

Can we all agree that Apple rocks and Steve will be missed?

Before I hit the road let me leave you with 2 things, #1: I am stoked for Halloween but I am trying to find a DJ for my Halloween party still... the one I had in mind was unfortunately already booked. I would never be an event coordinator you could not pay me. It is hard work! And man, you really need to have connections. Also, get excited for halloween guess what I am being? Here is a hint: JR BACON CHEESEBURGER. That's right folks, I am being Wendy from Wendy's. I am trying to get my friend to be a french fry haha. I dunno how we would do that but it would be hilarious.
And the second thing I want to leave you with is my new favorite band... THE HEAD AND THE HEART. They are amazing. Just listen to this...What do you think? Whatcha guys doing for Halloween? It is my favorite holiday and if I could I would fly you all to SLC to come to my annual halloween party!

I generally liked this. You make your life sound like a young adult novel. You have for real deal hardships and then you have "awakening events" and I like how you write about em.

ONE major complaint though. Can someone explain what is to be missed about Steve Jobs? I get, Apple is boss. I LOVE ipods and ipads and iphones and imacs. LOVE em. imovie is legit. But come on. Jobs was shrewd, crude, cold, ridiculous, and bombastic. Not exactly citizen of the year (but maybe citizen cane?). I really don't think the world has lost ANYTHING other than a man who invested well. The heart of what is amazing about Apple and all other projects that goon was involved in is still alive and well. Maybe even better off than before. My two cents.
