Listen-I'm not a quitter, I would not like to be one. I like to succeed and prove that I can do things just like every other person. But I don't see how I am supposed to get through 9 more classes in this major.
I just don't.
But just like my mom pointed out a few weeks ago:
"Promise me you will always remember that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."

I know the feeling. As much as I love my major, the idea of taking a bunch more classes and then growing up to do the same thing I've been doing scares me. The only thing that scares me more is not getting a job.
I can't say I know the stress of college classes and majors and everything just yet, but I am familiar with the feeling of just complete defeat. I guess you have to tell yourself that you've made it this far, you know you can do it!
So, I get annoyed sometimes when people are like, "Well, you could have it worse - think of the starving people in Africa." Like, it's tragic that they're starving, but is that supposed to make me feel better that the very real world around me seems impossible at the moment?
Regardless, my dear friend - you ARE strong. Sometimes life can suck, it can throw curveballs, and leave you feeling helpless. Classes and college stress - it sucks. Your mom is spot on with that quote - believe in yourself, pretty girl, because you are extremely wise.
Let me know if you EVER need to talk! xox
I love that quote <3 Anyway, just remember that feelings come and go but the choices you make don't so hang in there!
Hey Jocelyn, thank you for posting this! It feels good to know that we are not alone, and it feels even better to know that indeed, things could be worse. We'll make it through, keep your chin up and work hard - no distractions. I know it's easier said than done, but you can do it. Love from Kingston!!
