Princess and the Peeeee.

Lately, everytime I am about to fall asleep I realize I have to go to the bathroom. For about 15 minutes I contemplate if I should unsnuggle out of my bed and walk down the scary, dark hallway to the bathroom...or if I should just stick it to the man and hold it. Every night I weigh the pros and cons, which are ALWAYS the same. So who knows why I have to keep reviewing them? I honestly think that having to pee when you are asleep is the most annoying things ever. Maybe I will just have to move my bed closer to my bathroom? OR drink less dr. pepper and red bull. Finals week is creepin' in on me, and I am already so short on sleep the next few weeks are not going to be fun... caffeine will save me, if i don't be the bed first...

"I can only note that the past is beautiful because one never realises an emotion at the time. It expands later, and thus we don't have complete emotions about the present, only about the past."

Your Mom's House

"People are always blaming circumstances for what they are. I do not believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they cannot find them, they make them."
— George Bernard Shaw

So the past week was horrible, amazing, tiring and relaxing all at the same time. Everyday there was something new, a different emotion a different task i needed to overcome. But I did my best to do it all, and accomplish what I needed to do. Monday was a horrible day and I was really unhappy, I was lonely, missed all my friends since I swear I am the only one without a boyfriend, and I was stressed with school. It's safe to say that I was just gloomy, the weather certainly didn't help much either. However, I decided that I hating being miserable so I changed my attitude. I can't change the cards I am dealt, but I can change how I play them. So taking on this new approach, I decided to stop moping around and be more productive. I became more optimistic and started to laugh more, be nicer to my sisters and spend more time with them since they were on spring break. Not to mention the tegan and sara concert cheered me up, and that concert became a source of inspiration and I am actually writing my final paper for my gender class on them and their influence on the GLBTQ community.

I loved having my younger sisters home, it lead to random redbox rentals late on a random wednesday night, gazing at Taylor Lautner even though I hate Twillight. And my favorite adventure was after our crazy dog chewed through our comcast internet cable... We needed the internet and instead of going to the library or to a place we KNEW had wi fi, we drove around the city trying to steal random persons internet connection, It was honestly a lot harder than I thought. We discovered that starbucks has wi-fi but after buying a hot chocolate, you have to pay to use the internet... who does that? lame. Parked in front of some sketchy apartments we laughed at the crazy titles random people named their wi-fi, my favorite was, "your mom's house." My dad once said that he wanted to name our wi-fi "satan" but instead we got stuck with my mom's maiden name as our wi-fi name. it's not too exciting. Do you guys know your wi-fi names? i really want to change my wi-fi name to something scandalous and make all my neighbors guess whose it is...

The whole concept of the shared library on itunes is the same idea, the other day I was listening to some random person's library since we were on the same network and someones popped up that was titled, "I dare you to find someone with better taste in music" I started laughing and they did have good taste in music, i must say! oh man... random stories I know! But hey, a blog is a free speech area right? :P Hope all you bloggers are doin well! And if you just read my blog and don't blog yourself, well then hope you're doing spectacularly as well!

spring fever

The snow is slowly drifting outside, as my sandals sit cold, and shivering on the back porch. my pink poesy toenails are ready for the sun, the warmth-- the weather here makes me woozy this time of year. i shiver, but my blanketed skin craves the sun, to be tan again. Just let the sun shine through-- i will even warmly welcome the unpleasantness of red itchy eyes that come when your bright buds burst from the ground! I am ready for the windows down, and the red rock of powell, please just give it to me. No more games, mother nature...give it to me, give me spring!
